I have been writing about the 5,000-year-old program of Invisibility and how that programming shows up in our day-to-day habits and behavior…giving freely to others while being invisible to ourselves.

We can become so stuck in these patterns, that we learn to put our attention first  on others, disappearing almost entirely from ourselves.

We become disconnected from our own feelings, needs, and desires (they become invisible to us), and this creates a vague sense of dissatisfaction in all our relationships.

We do not assert our feelings, needs, and desires even when we are aware of them.  

And our Inner Critic can be crazy mean!

How can we possibly live our best life, how can we possibly learn to love and honor ourselves, when stuck in this pattern of invisibility? 

• You have created a positive, kind, and affirming relationship with yourself.  You know who you are and you like who you are.
• You give yourself compassion when you are in pain and joyfully celebrate your successes.
• You own your gifts and talents and are passionate about sharing them in the world.
• You say “No” to requests for help, without guilt, although you still love to help out.
• You place activities of fun and growth on your calendar and hold those “me dates” as sacred.
• You easily tune into your Inner Guidance System, trusting it to guide your decisions and daily focus.
• You create daily time for quiet prayer and meditation, connecting intentionally to your inner world and the Divine within.  Here you can feel peaceful, grounded, and your true authentic self.
• You have relationships with like-minded others where you feel seen, understood, and supported. You can share your wants and needs in an empowered way, confident they will be heard and respected.
• You are finally visible to yourself, grounded in your worth, and dedicated to your empowered self-care.
• You have become your own Best Friend!
